Jake Colby McCall, 31, of McAlester, OK left his earthly home Saturday, September 4, at his family home in McAlester.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held at Patriot Auto Group, 916 S George Nigh Expressway, McAlester, OK on Monday, September 13 from 5 to 7 p.m.  Another Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 with a family luncheon beginning at 12:30 and the Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 405 W. Electric Ave., McAlester, OK.

Jake Colby McCall was born on August 18, 1990, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Barry C. McCall and Annette Susan (Gilbert) McCall. Jake was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Their family moved to McAlester in 2000, when Jake was in the 5th grade. Jake attended Frink-Chambers School through the 8th grade where he graduated as Valedictorian.  Jake continued his education at Savanna High School, where he lettered in football, golf, and graduated as class Valedictorian also. Jake was active in the Boy Scouts obtaining his Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow.  Jake was a sales professional at the Patriot Auto Group of McAlester for the past 2 years.  Jake enjoyed going to the lake and riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes. Jake also had a life-long love of radio control cars, airplanes, and drones.

Jake is survived by his parents, Barry and Annette McCall; a brother and sister-in-law, Chance and Ashley McCall, and their children, Jimmye, Theon, and Thorin; and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins in Utah, Florida, Colorado, and California. He was beloved by his brother, parents, nephews, and other family members and friends. He had a kind soul, a warm smile, and will be missed dearly by all.
