Jackie Kuykendall, 93, of McAlester, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at New Hope Retirement & Care Center.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester with Michael Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester. Pallbearers will be Kyle Coulter, Kale Coulter, Matt Kuykendall, Shawn Kuykendall, Kobe Kuykendall, Kane Kuykendall, Braxton Tucker, and Austin Kuykendall.

Jackie was born on October 24, 1932 in Crowder, Oklahoma to Clarence and Ruth (Guess) Jackson. She married John Kuykendall on December 23, 1952 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, basketball, and dominoes.

Survivors include her husband, John Kuykendall; a daughter, Kathy James; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, John R. Kuykendall and Terry Kuykendall; and a great grandson, Jenson Williams.
