Jackie Drummond, 74, of McAlester, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at his home.

He was born on October 24, 1947 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Olan and Hazel (Morrison) Drummond.  He married Linda Eudy on December 25, 1971.  He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service until his retirement.  He enjoyed watching football, collecting coins and gambling.  He was a member of Northgate Baptist Church.

Jackie is survived by a son, John and Denise Lawrence; grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson and Shawn Harbison, Jordan and James Haley, and Haley Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Brylee Leibfried, Aybree Leibfried, Jillian Leibfried, Bennett Harbison, Hoyt Haley and Grady Haley; brothers, Joe Drummond and Joyce Drummond Reitman, Bill and Barbara Drummond, and Don and Sue Drummond.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Drummond; daughter, Jill Drummond; parents, Olan and Hazel Drummond; brothers, Bo, Ray and John Drummond; brother-in-law, Lester T. Eudy; father-in-law, William B. Shaw.

Family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.  Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Brumley-Mills Chapel in McAlester with Rev. Roy Prince officiating.
