Imogene "Jean" Hackler, 86, of McAlester, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at her home.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Hugh Low Cemetery Pavilion in Scipio with Pastor Terry Brinkley officiating.  Burial will follow.

Jean was born on May 23, 1935 in Scipio, Oklahoma to Cal Vester and Arlon (Morris) Crandell.  She was married to Carl Beard and he preceded her in death.  She later married Hubert Hackler and he also preceded her in death.  She was a waitress and seamstress, working at Komar, Holiday Inn, Fat Boys and Mac's Café.  She loved gardening and decorating.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Debbie Graham, Mike and Lisa Beard, Steve and Regina Huffman; grandchildren, Denise and Billy Morgan, Megan Beard and Jordan Baumann, Caleb and Miranda Beard, Richard Graham, April and Shane Beard, Shonda and Cody Mashburn; two sisters, Sharon Whisenhunt and Linda Osborne; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband's, Carl Beard and Hubert Hackler; son, Danny Beard; parents, Cal Vester Crandell and Arlon Kepler; brothers, A.J., Cal, Jr., Bill, Johnny, Bob, Leonard and Lindsey; two sisters, Opal Bower and Pauline Crawley.
