Howard Lee Ezell, 71, of McAlester, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in McAlester.

Howard was born on June 20, 1952 in Tillamook, Oregon to Don and Barbara (Tobie) Ezell.  He married Nancy Ross on August 26, 1972 in Lebanon, Oregon.  He served in the United States Navy and Army National Guard, and enjoyed fishing and working on projects.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ezell of McAlester; sons and spouses, John Ezell and Johnna Ezell of Krebs, OK, Chris Ezell and Laura Turner of McAlester; six grandchildren, Hunter Ezell, Kevin Ezell, Mason Ezell, Addisyn McGee, Bella McGee and Bryan Turner; two brothers, Bob Ezell of Billings, MT and Jim Ezell of Monmouth, OR; sister, Patty Lucas and husband, Donald Lucas.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Barbara Ezell; and a brother, Wayne Ezell.

The family will conduct a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at His Place Community Center, next door to Trinity Lutheran Church, 190 E. State Hwy. 31, Krebs, OK 74554.
