Helen Loraine Harris, 90, of Hartshorne, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Belfair of McAlester.

Helen was born on November 25, 1932 in Adamson, Oklahoma to Gregg and Ethyl (Gibson) Doak.  She married Bob Harris on July 17, 1955 at Long Beach, California.  She enjoyed bowling, camping, spending time with grandkids and family.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartshorne, multiple church organizations and Epsilon Sigma Alpha.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Linda Cupit and husband, Jack of McAlester, OK, Bobby Harris II and wife, Diana of Hartshorne, OK; grandchildren and spouses, Michael Cupit of Moore, OK, Arlie and April Girdner of Muskogee, OK, Erik and Jacquie Harris of Muskogee, OK, Josh and Kyleigh Harris of Tonkawa, OK, Samuel and JadeLyn Harris of Tulsa, OK, Stacey Moore and Carl Nimrod of Wilburton, OK, Jeff Moore and Tamra Bell of Wilburton, OK; great-grandchildren, Colton, Jaylee and Grayson Girdner of Muskogee, OK, Paige and Mia Harris of Muskogee, OK, Kaylee Irvin, KC Irvin and Allisabeth Irvin-Moore of Wilburton, OK, Hayden and Jaxon Moore of McAlester, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Carma Sue and Frank McMurtrey; nephews, Frankie Ray McMurtrey and Jeff McMurtrey and a niece, Lori Sue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Harris on June 4, 2022; a daughter, Debbie Harris; parents, Gregg and Ethyl Doak and a brother, Jerry Doak.

Family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne.  Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Hartshorne with Rev. Daniel Miller officiating.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne.  Active pallbearers will be Michael Cupit, Arlie Girdner, Erik Harris, Josh Harris, Sam Harris, Jeff Moore and Carl Nimrod.  Honorary pallbearers will be Colton Girdner, Grayson Girdner, Hayden Moore and Jaxon Moore.
