Helen Deffenbaugh, 71, of McAlester, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at her home.

Helen was born on October 9, 1951 in Texarkana, Texas to Calvin Lee and Wanda (Smith) Fox. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Ted Picotte of McAlester, OK; brother, Ken Fox of Krebs, OK; sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Lloyd Barnes of Sacramento, CA, Joyce Ramsey of Sacramento, CA, Audra and James Martin of Krebs, OK; 3 nephews, 7 nieces, 6 great-nephews, 7 great-nieces; a special grandson, Zachary James Miles; many friends from here and California.

She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Lee Fox; mother, Wanda Lee (Smith) Fox; daughter, Brandie Marie Deffenbaugh; brother-in-law, Frank Lagada; sister, Patsy Ann (Fox) Lagada; nephew, Charles Cunningham.

She will be laid to rest in Ash Creek Cemetery.
