Guy Houston Blood, 66, of Blanco, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at his home.

Guy was born on May 24, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas to Guy Calvin and Mildred Ann "Nanny" (Hooper) Blood.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and talking about his family's history.  He was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born.

Survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Gene Burrows, LuCretia and Craig Overton; nephews, Jason and Sara Lockwood, and James Lockwood; niece, Janette Lockwood; four great-nephews and one great-niece; numerous cousins, friends and his dogs, Feisty and Rascal.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephews, Chance Holden and Brian Holden.

A private burial was held on Friday, August 25th at Kiowa Cemetery.  Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester with David Bailey officiating.
