Gloria Jean (Crenshaw) Lawrence, 73, of Bixby, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

She was born on July 25, 1948 in Leeds, Alabama to Herman Claude and Voncile (Bailey) Crenshaw.  She married Donald Lawrence (from Coffeyville, KS) in September 1974, where they both lived until 1997 before moving to Oklahoma to be closer to their grown children.  She was a Quality Assurance Auditor for Birmingham Fasteners in Birmingham, Alabama.  She enjoyed drawing, movies and plastic canvas art.  She was VFW Chaplain in 1977-1978 in Coffeyville, Kansas and Jaycee Janes in Coffeyville, Kansas in 1980-1981.  She obtained her GED in 1986 and graduated from the Coffeyville Community College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree with honors in 1988.

Survived by her children, Angela & husband Heath Broome of Kiowa OK, Timothy Cannady of McAlester OK, Stephanie & husband Adam Sparks of Bixby OK, Stephen Lawrence of Tulsa OK, and Therasa Lawrence of Liberty Mounds OK. As well as her grandchildren, Jeremy Harrison & fiance Carlie Norris of Oklahoma City OK, Austin & wife Mercedes Peloquin of Fort Bragg NC, Kolton Peloquin of McAlester, OK and girlfriend Shyanna Ott of Chickasha, OK, Cody Broome of Dow, OK and girlfriend Kelli  Powell of Dow, OK, Reed Sparks, Joshua Sparks and Brayden Sparks all of Bixby OK, Kailie Hilsher of Tulsa OK, Jaxon Grant, Skyler Hamilton and Ariel Lawrence all of Liberty Mounds OK, as well as many other bonus family members and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lawrence; father, Herman Crenshaw; mother, Voncile Strawbridge and step-father, Ray Strawbridge; and a grandson, Brandon Broome.

A family meal will be provided by the Northside Assembly of God Church on Friday, December 31 st at noon and the memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester with Pastor Brian Smith officiating.
