Gilbert Bryan Frazier, 64, of McAlester, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at his sister's home, where he had been cared for. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester, with Jeremy Scott officiating. Burial will follow at the Isaac King Family Cemetery. Pallbearers are Rufus Gould, Randy Sam, David Sublette, David Harley, Kevin Ketcherside and Bailey Zachary. Honorary pallbearers are Johnnie Sue Kemp, Dewayne Mackey, Betty Thomas, Steven Parish and Joe Coley.
Gilbert Bryan Frazier was born on August 10, 1961 in Oklahoma City to Edmond Wilson and Louella Mae (King) Frazier. They moved to McAlester when Bryan was a child and he has lived here all his life. He graduated from McAlester High School. He worked in food service most of his adult life, at the Motor Inn, the Savanna Truck Stop, and Arrowhead Lodge. He was excellent at crocheting and cooking and loved to sing gospel songs.
Bryan is survived by a brother, Edmond Frazier, Jr.; a sister and brother-in-law, Vanessa Allen and Charles; 4 nieces and a nephew, Ileah Arpoika and Jonathan, Amber Piorkowski and Michael, Reanna Allen, Dakota Smead, and Megan Sowers; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bonnie Frazier; a nephew, Jacob Allen; and several cousins.
