Floyd R. White, Sr., 64, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, formerly of McAlester, passed away on Friday, April 30 ^th at his home in Henryetta.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 805 W. Broadway St., Henryetta, Oklahoma with Pastor Lawrence Matlock officiating.  Burial will follow at Blue Cemetery, west of McAlester.  Pallbearers will be Justin Keightley, Hayden Baker, Kenneth Billbe, John Westrope, Randy Stafford and Craig Merchant.

Floyd was born on October 20, 1956 in Levelland, Texas to E.J. and Lucille (Schoggins) White.  He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.  He was a truck driver for 35 years and lived in McAlester for 30 years, Tulsa for 20 years and Henryetta for 10 years.  He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Survivors include son, Floyd Charles White of Henryetta, OK; companion, Pamela Smith of McAlester; two brothers, Mike Turnupseed of Wister, OK and David White of Tulsa, OK; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Rex Merchant of Henryetta, OK; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.J. and Lucille White; brother, Eddie White, Jr.; grandparents, Bob and Pearl Schoggins and Daisy Courtney.
