Obituary

Fannie Lou Daniel-Easter, 96, of Blocker, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026 in McAlester.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.  Burial will follow at Quinton Cemetery in Quinton, Oklahoma.

Fannie Daniel-Easter was born on May 21, 1930 in Brooken, Oklahoma to John Lester Harvey and Jennie Mae (Williams) Harvey-Hickman.  She grew up in Blocker and has lived there her entire life.  She owned and operated a store in Blocker that sold sporting goods, groceries and gas.  She also worked hard as a rancher, and always had a huge garden and strawberry patch, enough that she sold strawberries to the local grocery stores.

Fannie is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Daniel; a brother, Earnest Harvey; a granddaughter, Nickie Montgomery and her daughter Jenna; nieces and nephews, Deborah Tice, Sharon Heath, Carrie Dewberry, Candace Whinery, Tony Harvey, and Tim Harvey.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
