Earnest Eli Long, 75, of McAlester, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at his home.

Earnest was born on October 9, 1950 in Enid, Oklahoma to Elias Eli and Alta Pearl (Rogers) Long. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era and enjoyed working on cars.
Survivors include his daughters, Janelle Cameron of Earlsboro, OK, Amy Gonzales of Harrah, OK, and Kimberly McCreery of Harrah, OK; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Kenneth Dwayne Long; sisters, Jackie Long and Mary Lott; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy Long and Charles Long; numerous nieces and nephews.
