Earnest Floyd Halliburton, Jr., 63, of McAlester, passed away Sunday, May 23, in McAlester.  Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, May 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Pryor Cemetery in Stuart.

Earnest Halliburton, Jr. was born on April 28, 1958 in McAlester to Earnest Floyd Halliburton, Sr. and Catherine Lee (Johnson) Halliburton.  He grew up in the Stuart area and graduated from Stuart High School.  Earnie was always interested in cars and spent most of his adult life buying, fixing and selling cars.  He had also worked for the Arpelar Water District and the Adamson Water District, as well as working in construction here and spending a little time in the oil and gas fields in North Dakota.  Earnie was a member of the Northside Assembly of God Church in McAlester.

Earnie is survived by his mother, Catherine Halliburton; a daughter, Lacey Dawn Halliburton and her children, Ava, Lilly and Saysha; 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Jody Halliburton, and Andrew and Rejeina Halliburton and their children, Dillon and Hannah; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Samantha and David Robertson, and Wynona and Donnie Short; and nieces and nephews, Jeff Short, Justin Short, William Robertson, Jessie Robertson, Cassie Lawson, and Novaleigh Lawson.
