Dylan Scott
Robbins
Sep 13, 2002 — Jun 7, 2023
Canadian
Dylan Scott Robbins, 20, of Canadian Oklahoma went on to be with our Lord and Savior on June 7, 2023 in his home surrounded by family following a life long battle with complications of cerebral palsy.
Dylan was born September 13, 2002 to Brandon and Amanda alongside his twin, Wyatt, in McAlester Oklahoma. Dylan spent four months in the NICU, and showed over and over that he was a fighter. Dylan's lifelong goal it appears was to prove doctors wrong time and time again. He lived 20 years in a broken body, but with a spirit that breathed perseverance. We know he walked his first steps into heaven, shouting and rejoicing and praising God to finally be whole, and we rejoice with him even in the midst of our own pain, because we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. When physically able, Dylan attended church with his family at Little Coweta Baptist Church in Lenna, Oklahoma.
Dylan is survived by Amanda & Bucky Schulz, of the home, father, Brandon Robbins of McAlester; sister and Brother In Law, Elizabeth and Garrett Marshall of McAlester; Brother, Wyatt Robbins of the home, brother, Kutler Robbins of McAlester; Sister, Cassidy Schulz of the home, and brother, Gavin Compton of Guthrie, Oklahoma; Grandmother, Judy Robbins of Indianola, Grandmother, Lois Lupardus of McAlester; Grandparents, Gordon and Sherry Grabill of San Antonio, Texas and grandparents, Jonathan and Theresa Schulz of Karnes City, Texas and many aunts, uncles, and friends who loved him and cherished him. Dylan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Travis Robbins, and his maternal grandfather, Peter Barron.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the nursing staff that were with us in his 20 years of life. You gave him your whole hearts and loved him like he was your own, because he was. Our family will feel incomplete now without you daily presence. Ms. Norma Canfield, Kathie Wyatt, Paula Herron, Jane Anne Western who all spent at least 10 years with us, and a whole host of others that were with us for shorter amounts of time- Thank you doesn't seem to be enough. Your love, support, guidance and friendship is honored, cherished and will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 12th 2023 at 10am.
