Dylan Paxton, 16, of Bonham, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 8 ^th in Texas.

Dylan was born March 7, 2006 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Jimmie Don Paxton and Melissa Lasater.

Dylan is survived by his dad, Jimmie Don Paxton and Kelsey Hearod of Haileyville, OK; mom, Melissa Lasater of Bonham, TX; brother, Dakota Paxton and Rachel Melton of Bonham, TX; brother, Canyon Paxton of Haileyville, OK; sister, McKenna Eddington of Bonham, TX; nephew, Levi Paxton and niece, Arabella Paxton of Bonham, TX; grandmother, Eunice Paxton of McAlester, OK; grandmother, Matilda Paxton of Valiant, OK; uncle, Kevin Paxton of Bonham, TX; uncle, Jerry Don Paxton and Stacey Cole of McAlester, OK; aunt, Keri Paxton of Oklahoma City, OK; aunt, Nancy Garcia and Roy Garcia of Bonham, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmie Dale Paxton; great-grandmother, Marie Anderson; great-grandfather, Louie Ellis; great-grandmother, Martha Ellis; grandfather, Bruce Lasater and great-grandfather, Robert Sutton.

Dylan loved comedy and would have you laughing in no time.  His smile and joy was contagious.  He will forever be missed by everyone.

Services are 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester with Pastor Terry Williams officiating.  Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery near Blanco, Oklahoma.  Active pallbearers will be Blake Honeycutt, Billy Ellis, Sammy Ellis Jerry Don Paxton, Jared Ellis and Jimmie Ellis.  Honorary pallbearers are Craig Powell and John Coffey.
