Douglas T. C. Christie, 13, of McAlester, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, in Dallas, Tx.  Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the 831 Mission Church in McAlester.  Burial will follow at Gowen-Cambria Cemetery, east of Hartshorne.

Douglas Christie was born on July 26, 2013 in McAlester, the son of Steven Christie and Laurie Ellis.  Douglas was a student at Parker Intermediate School in McAlester.  He has been attending 831 Mission Church in McAlester for several years.  He enjoyed building things with Lego's, watching YouTube, and playing with his siblings.  Douglas is survived by his father, Steven Dwayne Christie; his mother, Laurie Dawn Ellis; siblings, Jacob Lee Michael Christie, Shayden Christie, Nevaeh Christie, Payten Christie, and Emily Christie; grandparents, Dawn Ellis-Wingo and Rick, and Gordon Christie.   He was preceded in death by grandparents, Stacy Standridge, Bryce Ellis, and Iris Standridge.
