Dorothy Inola Mullins, 93 of McAlester, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at a local nursing center. Viewing will be Sunday from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Arpelar Cemetery.

Dorothy Mullins was born on June 17, 1929 in McAlester, To Oscar Lee Mullins and Lucy L. (Dement) Mullins. She grew up in the Haywood/Arpelar area and has lived in the area most of her life.

Dorothy is survived by a son Bradford Mullins; 3 sisters, Ella Butler, Marzell Owens and Lois Mullins; a brother, Paul Mullins; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers Doyle Mullins, Kenneth Mullins, RL Mullins and Charles Mullins; and 4 sisters, Pauline Curry, Leona Kroening, Francis Oleta Bennett and Novell Williams.

Pallbearers will be Joe Bennett, Dale Bennett, Brentlee Padgett, Sammy Padgett, Dustin Mullins and Roy Bowels. Freddy Morrison is officiating the services.
