Donna Gail Maynard, 69, of Canadian, passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, at McAlester Reginal Health Center.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Ralph Maynard, Devan Maynard, David Maynard, Darran Maynard, Jeremy Eldridge, and Jerry Luna, Jr.

Donna Gail Maynard was born on July 9, 1952 in McAlester to Thomas and Helen (Welsh) Crumbley.  She grew up in McAlester and attended McAlester schools.  Donna had one daughter from a former marriage, Laurine Bishop.  She married Mike Maynard on May 24, 1976, and they had 2 sons, Ralph and Mike Maynard.  Donna and Mike had 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and one to be born on October.  Donna was a hard worker, working at several EZ Marts, working as a home health provider, and a foster parent, until her retirement.  She loved her big family dearly.

Donna is survived by her husband, Mike Maynard; a daughter, Laurine Bishop; 2 sons, Ralph Maynard and Michael Maynard; 6 grandchildren,Devan Maynard, Darran Maynard, David Maynard, Dannielle Garris, Samantha Jordan, and Shawnie Brown; 4 great grandchildren; 6 sisters, Virginia Crumbley Newby and husband Roland, Patricia Luna Rhodes and husband Gary, Janett Luna Anderson and husband Mike, Catherine Luna Eldridge and husband Donald, Pamalla Luna Bice, and Jane Ann Luna; 2 brothers, Jerry Ray Luna and Linda Brandenburg, and Carl Lee Luna; an uncle , John Edward Welsh; ; a sister-in-law, Kay Luna; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and great grandparents; 3 brothers, Tommy and Ralph Crumbley and Leonard Luna; 2 sisters, Carolyn Luna Jones and Judy Luna and her husband Bobby Upson; a niece, Karen Kay Rhodes; a nephew, Codey Luna; an aunt, Laurine Griswold and husband Leroy; and cousins, Jeanie Bennett and Gary McDonald.
