Donald Sigmund Jurkiewicz, 55, of McAlester, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Springhill Healthcare Center in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home chapel in McAlester.

Donald was born on December 7, 1969 in Dallas, Texas to Donald Sigmund Jurkiewicz and Kathrine Ann (Simmons) Morris. He served in the United States Army and served in the invasion of Panama. He enjoyed video games, Dungeons & Dragons, Rift, and spending time with family.

Survivors include his son, Donald Sigmund "Hawk" Jurkiewicz IV; brothers, Danny Jurkiewicz and Todd Jurkiewicz; nieces and nephews, Tiffani Seaton, Ashley Jurkiewicz, Mary and Amy Jurkiewicz, Aubrey Jurkiewicz, Alex Jurkiewicz, Felicity Jurkiewicz, Brayden Jurkiewicz, Ryker Janz, Race Janz, Roe Janz, and Maya Shaffer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald S. Jurkiewicz and Katherine Ann Morris; brother, Acey Jurkiewicz; grandparents, Alfred Coy Simmons and Mary Rhae Simmons.
