Delta Sue Brewer, 81, of McAlester, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

She was born on November 17, 1940 in Tannehill, Oklahoma to Johnie E. and Ruth (Stowe) Martin.  She married Ray Brewer on March 12, 1962 in McAlester.  She was an awesome wife, mother and grandmother.  She attended Beauty School when her children were grown. She loved to garden and grow flowers and also loved canning.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond "Ray" Brewer; daughter, Susan Griffitts; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Frankie Brewer, Brett and Angie Brewer; grandchildren, Brandon Boatright, Lindsey Boatright, Dillon Brewer, Payton Brewer, Bailey Little and Peyton Little; great-grandchildren, Elic Bishop, Konner Bishop, Taylor Snow, Buell Snow and Elizabeth Brewer; one brother, Wayne Pettigrew; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnie and Ruth Martin; brothers, J.W. Martin, Ronald Martin and Larry Don Martin.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.  Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Monte Busby officiating.  Burial will follow at Tannehill Cemetery.
