Delores Ann Williams left this earthly world on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM and entered into the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.  She was 82.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday January 22nd in the Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel of McAlester.  Pastor Mike Farris will be the officiant.  Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.  Visitation will be on Friday January 21 from 8:00 AM to 8:00PM.  Casket bearers will be Cameron Christian Davy, William Brandon Massie, Joseph Patrick Seliga, Kyler Joseph Harrington and Tyler Blake Harrington.

Delores Ann Farris Williams was born July 19, 1941 in Savanna, Oklahoma.  Her parents, Raymond  and Naomi Ann Farris, owned and operated a Local Store and burger joint in Savanna.  Delores is survived by her daughter Pam Williams Seliga and her two brothers Don Farris and David Farris, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Delores began working for the Navy/Army Ammunition plant in 1967.  She worked for the Government for 40 years, retiring in 2007.

Delores and her daughter Pam opened Pam's School of dance in McAlester in 1987.  She ran the office work for the studio for 30 years.  It's currently called Pam's Academy of Dance.  Delores went to many dance conventions and dance competitions and loved the dance world.  She also owned D's Dancewear.  Her most important treasure and accomplishment in life was her family.  Delores gave tremendously of herself to her daughter Pam and her grandchildren, Tyler Harrington, Chandler Massie and Cameron Davy.  She was preceded in death by great-granddaughter Emrie Faith Davy, her partner Robert Bernasky, her mother and father Naomi Farris and Raymond Farris and sister Jean Farris.
