Delores Ann Johnson, age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2026 surrounded by family in Glenpool OK. She was born in McAlester, OK on December 29, 1930.

Delores was a faithful Christian throughout her life and was a current member of the Woodland Hills Church of Christ in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her faith was the foundation of her life and was reflected in the kindness, love, and devotion she showed to her family and all who knew her.

She lived in McAlester, Oklahoma, for over 80 years before moving to Glenpool, Oklahoma, in 2018 to live with her granddaughter Jennifer Henry and family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Arnold Dale Johnson; her son, Darrel Ray Johnson; her parents, Joseph and Minnie Crawford; and several brothers and sisters.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Dale Ann Dobbs and husband Andy of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Arlana Wade and husband Martin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her sister, Aynthia Kirk of McAlester, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Henry and husband Cory, Jason Workman and wife Bri, Jessica Workman, Jordan Wade and wife Amy, Jay Dobbs, Kara Northern and husband Sam, and Darrel Johnson Jr.; as well as nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Delores will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds peace and comfort in the many cherished memories she leaves behind.

Visitation will start on Monday at 10:00 a.m.  Funeral services will follow immediately at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Rob Lungstrum officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Delores's grandsons, Cory Henry, Jason Workma Jordan Wade, Jay Dobbs, Sam Northern, Kent Dalmont and Gene Dalmont.  Honorary pallbearers are Lee Dobbs and Allen Ray.
