Davy Charles Harris 73, of Krebs, OK passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 in Muskogee, OK.  Viewing will be Tuesday until 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.  Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester.

Davy Harris was born on August 2, 1949 in Hartshorne, OK to Dan "Bud" Harris and Wanda Belle (Eiklor) Harris-Pigg.  He grew up in Haileyville, OK and graduated from Haileyville High School.  Soon after, he joined the U. S. Air Force and served for 2 years.  After his military service he attended college for 2 years earning his Associate Degree in Business.  He married Linda Gant on Aug. 4, 1989 and they made their home in McAlester where Davy established his own independent insurance agency, the Harris Insurance Agency.  Davy sold insurance for the next 43 years, until he retired.  Davy loved watching football games, in person at local games and on TV.  He also enjoyed getting together with his family for fun and fellowship.

Davy is survived by his wife, Linda Harris; 3 sons, Jerime Harris and husband Douglas Graves, Kevin Martin, and James Martin and wife Angie; 3 grandchildren, Cayden Wilson and husband Hunter, Colter Martin and wife Ashley, and Cabe Martin; 4 great grandchildren, Cam Martin, Cadrian Wilson, Adrianna Wilson, and Ridge Wilson ("Little Bear"); 2 brothers, Bobby Harris and wife Janice and Doyle Harris and wife Lisa; a sister-in-law, Shirley Harris;  and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Dan, Dale and Dennis Harris; a sister, Joedda McDonald and husband Jim; and a special niece, Sondra Moore.
