Danny Lee Williams, 70, of Canadian Shores, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, at McAlester Regional Health Center. The family will host a viewing and visitation at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 5, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Military honors will be given at 5:00 p.m. Danny Lee Williams was born on Nov. 7, 1955 in Phoenix, Arizona, to Floyd Williams and Frances (Croce) Williams. Danny had lived in the Phoenix area until his family moved to California. As an adult, he returned to Phoenix, where he worked as a sheetrock installer. Danny had also served in the U. S. Army in the mid-1970's, during the Viet Nam war, until receiving his honorable discharge in 1974. Danny was also handy at woodworking and doing home improvements. He also served on the Canadian Shores Volunteer Fire Department, serving as Captain for over 20 years.
Danny is survived by his wife, Nancy Williams; his children, Yolanda Powell and her husband Bobby, Brandy Martin and her husband Jeremy, and Joshua Williams; grandchildren, Michael Williams and wife Amanda, Megan Collins, Matthew Powell, Melissa Powell, Lexus Williams, Alex Evans, and Grayson Eldridge; great grandchildren, Brantlie Williams, Lane Williams, Alaina Powell, and Xavier Collins; and a brother, Jonah Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 14 brothers and sisters.
