Danny Clark Boyd, 62, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 in McAlester.

Danny was born on November 4, 1961 in McAlester to Garner and Betty (Newman) Boyd.  He grew up in Kiowa and graduated from Kiowa High School. He attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and then entered into law enforcement.  He was also a U.S. postal contractor.  He enjoyed coon hunting, walking, John Wayne westerns, Andy Griffith and going to church.  He was a member of the North Town Church of Christ.

Survivors include his children, Jake and Savannah Boyd and their children, Dallas and Drue of Texarkana, TX, Kortney and Cameron Mann and their child, Jentri Kay of Madill, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Curtis Burnham of Bixby, OK; niece and spouse, Amanda and Brent Adams and their children of Tulsa, OK; nephew and spouse, Rhett and Jamie Brantley and their children of Hulbert, OK; his extended family in North Carolina and Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garner and Betty Boyd.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the North Town Church of Christ with Randy Walters officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Terry Williams, Randy Wesley, Randy Hughes, Pake McEntire, Hank Thomason and Tommy Hobbs.  Honorary pallbearers will be the men of North Town Church of Christ, Kenny Bethune and Ricky Maxwell.
