Cloyce Alvin "Butch" Conner, Jr., 70 of McAlester, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at his home.

Butch was born on August 14, 1953 in Eads, Colorado to Cloyce Alvin Conner, Sr. and Shirley (Williams) Conner. He was a correctional officer retired from the Oklahoma State Penitentiary.  He served in the United States Navy and was a Mason.  He enjoyed collecting Native American Artifacts, was a fisherman and car enthusiast.

Survivors include his children, Jerry Doolin of Eufaula, OK, Trish and Gavin Doss of Kellyville, OK, and David and Tina Conner of McAlester, OK; grandchildren, Parker Doolin, Chloe Doss, David Burnett and Chaise Iskey; great-grandsons, Cayden Burnett and Hudson Barlow; and sister, Donna Conner of Dover, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Cloyce Conner; brother, Jeffrey Conner; sisters, Dora Smiley and Helen Roach.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester with Masonic services being conducted.
