Cheryl Ann Howard, 64, of McAlester, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at a local nursing center.

Cheryl was born on October 25, 1958 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Bob and Juanita Margaret (Vaughn) Bales.  She married Doug Howard in March of 1978 in Schulter, Oklahoma.  She was a big country music fan and was an animal lover.

Survivors include her husband, Doug Howard; two daughters, Jenilee Howard and Christina Ann Ryan; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Lenda Bales, Dan and Kathy Bales, Phillip and Terry Bales, and Stan Bales.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shanna Melissa Howard; and infant child L.B.

The family will conduct a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church, 116389 S. 4240 Rd., Eufaula, OK 74432.
