Charlotte Denise "Peanuts" McCarroll, 70, of Hartshorne, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at her home in Hartshorne.  No services are planned at this time.

Charlotte McCarroll was born on June 3, 1955 in McAlester to Charlie "Buck" Maddux and Mary Sue (Doshier) Maddux.  She grew up in Hartshorne and graduated from Hartshorne High School in 1973.  She married Paul McCarroll on February 14, 1990.  She worked for a short time at Rockwell, but she was mainly a homemaker.  She enjoyed going fishing and loved her dogs.  She was also a devoted member of the Lighthouse Church in Eufaula.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Paul McCarroll; a son, Jon Wesley Haskins and wife Monica; grandchildren, Pharah Sampleton and John Anthony Haskins; great grandchildren, Brendalyn Ameria Carr and King Joel Carr; siblings, Gary Maddux and wife Jo, Rick Maddux, and Tammy Sue Maddux; a brother-in-law, Ernie Russell; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven W. Haskins; 3 sisters, Carolyn Macon, Brenda Russell; a brother, Chuck Maddux; and a nephew, Tim Maddux.
