Charles William Gould, 69, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa on November 17, 2022 with his wife, 2 children and sister by his side.

Charles "Bill" was born on May 28, 1953 in Morgantown, West Virginia to Margaret Jean and William Russell Gould.  He grew up in Morgantown until he moved to Michigan with his father and from there joined the U.S. Marine Corp at age 17.

Bill was married to Wendy Jean Mitchell in August 91 in the park and re-married Wendy June 92 in Bullhead City, Arizona.

Bill served his country that he loved for 13 years, 9 months in the U.S. Marine Corp and another 31 years for the Government of the United States.

Bill loved his children, family, animals and God.  He enjoyed boating, camping, fishing, dirt biking, speed runs on Lake Mohave', gardening, taking care of his yard, trees, eating, playing keno, reading, watching movies, rooting for his Mountaineers, football, baseball, golf and walking Savannah in the park.

Bill is survived by his wife Wendy, Savannah, Abby, Reno and Cali of the home; son Charles William JR and Kristi; grandchildren, Tyler, Ciaira, Ethan and Haleigh of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter, Denise Marie Pitts and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Aiden and Aubrey of Nevada; multiple great-grandchildren; his loving sister, Diana Lynn Price and husband Charles of West Virginia and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mom, stepdad, father, stepmother and brother Mark.

Bill was a loving, caring, thoughtful, honest, organized, hard working and prideful man; he will be greatly missed

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester.
