Carolyn Johnson Stanfield was born in McAlester Oklahoma on February 28, 1939 to William (Bill) and Margaret Johnson. Carolyn married David Stanfield of Quinton over 60 years ago, and  she joined him in heaven on January 4, 2023.  David and Carolyn served as a pastor and pastor's wife for many churches throughout Pittsburg and Haskell counties. Carolyn loved serving God, being a homemaker, raising their children and enjoying their grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by a son, Steven Stanfield and a daughter, Stacy Stanfield both of McAlester. Three grandsons and their wives, whom were the light of her life; Heath and Kaylee Stanfield, Dane and Nicole Stanfield all of McAlester and Blaine and Audra Mooneyham of Tulsa. A sister, Margaret Graham of Ridgecrest, California and many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Harry Johnson, and her beloved husband, David Stanfield.

Carolyn will be laid to rest in a family and friends graveside service at Memory Gardens Cemetery pavilion in McAlester on Monday, Jan.9, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
