Carol June Durant, 83, of Krebs, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at her home.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28 ^th at First Baptist Church in McAlester with Nathan Durant officiating.

She was born on September 20, 1937 in McAlester to George and Ruth (Walker) Campbell.  She married Wallace Brice Durant on June 13, 1956 in Krebs, Oklahoma.  She retired from the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in McAlester where she was actively involved and a member of the WMU.  She loved her grandchildren and caring for her family.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Melody Durant, Dwayne and Carmen Durant, Kevin and Maye Durant and Braxton Durant; grandchildren, Michael Durant, Ashley Haines, Alisha Allen, Audra Golightly, Alissa Beck, Beth Vague, Abi Green, Matthew Durant and Brice Durant; 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Durant, parents, George and Ruth Campbell; granddaughters, Sarah Beth Durant, Amanda Durant and a sister, Doris Grippando.
