Cameron Michael Ybanez, 19, of McAlester. passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 in Tulsa.  A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 16, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester.

Cameron Ybanez was born on April 12, 2004 in Beeville, Texas.  He and his family moved to the Longtown area when he was a baby, and have lived in McAlester since 2013.  Cameron attended Canadian school through his graduation from Canadian High School in 2023.  Cameron enjoyed hanging out with his friends and playing video games.  Cameron was also a collector; he had accumulated a large collection of figurines and vinyl records.  Cameron was also a man of God and loved with his whole heart.

Cameron is survived by his mother and father, Lea Ann Ybanez-Acevedo and Pablo Acevedo; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Kayla Johnson and husband Calup, and Miranda Tovar; a twin brother, Brandon Ybanez; grandparents, Becky Vaughn, and Eddie Ybanez and wife Cheryl; 1 nephew and 2 nieces, Calup Johnson, Jr., Koralee Johnson, and Kaisley Johnson; uncles, Gilbert Ybanez and family, Bryan Ybanez and family, and Junior Ybanez and family.  He was preceded in death by great grandparents, uncles, and aunts.
