Brenda Gail (Hendrix) Wilson, 63, of Hartshorne, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at her home.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Hartshorne.  Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at First Assembly of God Church in Hartshorne with Rev. Curt Bellinger officiating.  Burial will follow at Mountain Station Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Cody Wilson, Kage Wilson, Rowdy Nimrod, Tucker Morrow, Michael Huff and Kyle Vanderburg.  Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Mordecai, Tom Huff and Tommy Hendrix.

Brenda was born on December 24, 1960 in McAlester to James and Margie (Pace) Hendrix.  She married Donald Ray Wilson on December 16, 1988 in McAlester.  She was a para professional at Wilburton Public School.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping and vacations.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Wilson of Hartshorne, OK; children and spouses, Cody and Krystal Wilson of Mead, OK, RaeGail Wilson of Hartshorne, OK, Jason and Patte Wilson of McAlester, OK, Alina and Ricky Kitchell of Douglassville, PA, loved like a son, Tucker Morrow; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Doyle and Libby Hendrix of Durant, OK, Tommy and Pam Hendrix of McAlester, OK, Rodney Hendrix of McAlester, OK; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharol Martin of McAlester, Carolyn and Tom Huff of McAlester, OK; numerous nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margie Hendrix; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Albert and Gladys Wilson; niece, Melissa Martin and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Tommy Buckner.
