Bob R. Epps, 96, of Haileyville, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at his home.

A visitation will be on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester with a graveside service immediately following at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester. Graveside services will be officiated by Terry Sensibaugh.

Bob was born on March 12, 1930 in Haileyville, Oklahoma to Virgil Lee Epps and Josephine (Dunn) Epps. He married Margie Osborne on June 9, 1951 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He retired from Rock Island Railroad and he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Haileyville, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Lisa Epps of Haileyville, OK; 4 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; son, Alan Epps; and his parents.
