Bill J. Young, 78, of Jack Fork, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Bill was born on May 1, 1945 at Sardis, Oklahoma to Grover Cleveland and Ruby Lucille (Perkins) Young.  He married Bonnie Nittler on April 24, 1965 in Clayton, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Young; 2 daughters, Bonita Pierce and Becky Grant and husband, Billy Hughes; grandchildren and spouses, Brandon Pierce and wife Amber, Justin Pierce and wife Ashton, Heather Killingsworth and husband Tanner, Candice Ross, Matthew Ross, Tiffani Ross, Jessie Grant and Jaylon Hughes; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; nephew and wife, Henry and Angela Burdick; numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jennifer Dawn Pierce; great-grandson, Jake Carter Pierce; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Active pallbearers will be Tanner Killingsworth, Jaylon Hughes, Travis Smith, Randy Rose, Colby Squyres and Caleb Squyres.  Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Pierce, Justin Pierce, Matthew Ross and Henry Burdick.

Open viewing will be Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne. Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in Hartshorne.  Burial will follow on the family land in Jack Fork.
