Betty June Kilburn, 91, of McAlester, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at a local nursing home.

Betty was born on December 12, 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Thomas James and Velma (Coffee) Rogers.  She married Cyrus Luther Kilburn on August 14, 1950 in Mena, Arkansas.  She worked as a seamstress at Komar and enjoyed crocheting, painting, reading and riding horses.  She was a member of the Haywood Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Aaron and Jimmie Kilburn, Thomas and Medeania Kilburn; five grandchildren, Courtney Gail, Farron Kilburn, Heather Anderson, Skye Kilburn and Daniel McHenry; seven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Evan, Tori, Allie, Dillon, Mia and A.J.; one great-great-grandchild, Evelyn Ruth.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son, Lucky Kilburn and a brother, Jimmy Rogers.

Family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.  Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Haywood Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Brinkley officiating.  Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in McAlester.
