Betty L Bogard, 81 of Broken Arrow, OK, formerly of McAlester, passed away Tuesday March 29, 2022 and will be buried at Hanna Cemetery.

Betty was born on April 21, 1936 in Hanna, OK to Kelly (Cal) Harris & Nancy (Gunsolus).  She was a 1954 graduate of Hanna High School.  She started working for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority as secretary of the Indian Nation Turnpike in 1964 and retired after 30 years of service.  While working for the turnpike she also worked part time at Howard's department store for several years.  She was known for her hard work ethic and dedication.  She enjoyed listening to music, dancing & sewing.

Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in law, Pamela and Daniel Schuster of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren and spouses, Matthew and Lindsey Schuster of Coweta, OK, Samantha and Matt King of Collinsville, OK and one great-grandson Rhett Schuster.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her 3 sisters, Jody Whisenhunt, Nadine Hurst & Mildred Stansill.
