Annie May Johnson, 48, of Alderson, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in Tulsa.  The family will welcome friends for visitation at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14th.   Funeral services will be Friday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home with Kevin Angel officiating.  Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.  Pallbearers are Rusty Johnson, Doug Johnson, Brittney Johnson, Miranda Bedford, Calup Johnson, and Brandon Johnson.  Honorary pallbearers are her nieces and nephews.

Annie May Johnson was born on January 29, 1975 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Leonard Ray Johnson and Ann (Williams) Johnson.  Annie May grew up in Alderson and has lived there virtually all her life.  She graduated from Haileyville High School.  She loved to play video games, and was probably the family champion.  She also liked to spend time with her family and watching movies.  She also loved her church, the High Hill Baptist Church, where she was active in helping with Vacation Bible School and the church nursery.

Annie May is survived by her mother, Ann Johnson of the home; 2 sisters, Ellen Cottier and Bill of Omaha, NE, Cindy Basolo and Pat of McAlester; 2 brothers, Rusty Johnson and Amanda of Alderson, and Doug Johnson and Christina of Crowder; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and cousins, and other relatives.  She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Johnson; and her grandparents, Oliver Johnson, John and Maudie White, and Levvirett and Ellen Williams.
