Ann Elizabeth Durbin, 95, of McAlester, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in McAlester.  The family will welcome friends for visitation and viewing on Sunday, May 10, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Monday, May 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel, with Mike Farris officiating.

Ann Durbin was born on March 5, 1931 in the Peaceable area near McAlester to Earl White Henry and Eula (Williams) Henry.  She grew up there and attended Peaceable School.  She married Loye E. Durbin on April 9, 1952 in McAlester, and they made their home here since then, except for a very short time in Oklahoma City.  Early on, Ann worked as a cook at the Peaceable School, but was always a full-time homemaker.  She was a wonderful cook and canned and preserved everything she could from her garden.  That's pretty much what fed the family.  Ann was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith

Ann is survived by her children, Eugene Durbin and wife Kathy, Larry Durbin and wife Heather, Loy Durbin and wife Tammy, April Durbin and Brian Durbin; her grandchildren, Crystal, Taylor, Justin, Allen, Hanna, Cheyenne, Paris, Faith, Angel, Kris and Brandy; great grandchildren are Kaytlynn, Christian, Brayden, Vi, Iyla, and Claira and; great great grandchildren are Teralynn, Lani, Ryver, Serenity, McKenzie, Korbyn and Riley; and 2 sisters and 2 brothers, Lois Pool, Dollie Barrier, Jim Henry and Earl Henry.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Loye; great grandsons, Cody, Ethan; and siblings, Tiny Cozad, Mary Kay, and Kimble, Keith and Bill Henry.
