Amie Kay Gordon, 57, of Shawnee, passed away Sunday, April 3, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City.  Viewing will be Thursday till 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.  Funeral services will be Friday, April 8, at 3:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Chip Lott officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester.

Amie Kay Gordon was born on February 10, 1965 in Madill, Oklahoma to Lloyd Ellis and Helen (Dale) Ellis.   She grew up in McAlester and has lived in Shawnee for the past 30 years, where she spent a few years teaching kindergarten.

She is survived by her children, Nicole Gordon, and John Gordon, Jr. and Ashley; grandchildren, Mathius and Gwenivere Gordon; 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law, Ester Reeves, and Doris and Wayne Easley; 2 brothers and sisters-i-law, Ronnie and Carol Ellis and Delbert and Marsha Ellis; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 2 sisters, Sandra Pool and Brenda Sims.
