Adam Ray Woodruff, 41, of Longtown, passed away Friday, Oct. 22, at his home in Longtown.  His family will host a time of visitation and fellowship on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Canadian.  Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Danny Drake officiating.  Burial will follow at Indianola Cemetery.  Pallbearers are T. J. Brumley, Trey Schulte, Johnny Woodruff, Brandon Watson, Shannon Prater, Casey Lunceford, Wade Mathis and Jeff Parker.  Honorary pallbearers are Gabriel Cupp, Noah Cupp, Coach Brown, Steven Rogers, Jason Manning, Ermon Russell, Sr., Billy Jack Russell, Anthony Perkins and Tony Perkins.

Adam Ray Woodruff was born on March 22, 1980 in Oklahoma City.  He lived there until the 5 ^th grade when his family moved to the Longtown area, where he attended school at Canadian, graduating from Canadian High School.  As a youngster, he started working for his dad as a painter, doing commercial painting and home painting, and continued that work through his life.  Adam liked to fish and especially enjoyed family activities, such as taking the kids on arrowhead hunting adventures.  Adam married his high school sweetheart Amber Bice on May 8, 2009, they were together for 23 years.

Adam is survived by his wife, Amber Woodruff; his children, Katie Rose, A. J., and Makenzie Woodruff; his parents, Letha Wilson and her husband Haskell and Dickie Woodruff; grandmother, Sharon Hickman; sisters, Adrian Brumley and husband T. J., and Angela Schulte and husband Trey; niece, Brooklyn Brumley; and nephews, Gabriel Cupp, Noah Cupp, and Dallas Brumley.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Poke and Beatrice Brown and John Woodruff.
